SK-CE Vibrating Wire Embedded Strain Gauge
Short Description:
Overview
The Enviko SK-CE vibrating wire embedded strain gauge is cast into concrete to measure internal stress and strain over the long term. It consists of a sensor, strain body and protective sleeve, and its built-in temperature sensor records the temperature at the measuring point. A smart chip can be added on request.
Key Features
- Integrated strain body with built-in bellows and high elastic modulus
- Resistant to rotation, bending, impact and drops during concrete placement
- Follows concrete deformation without disturbing the original stress field
- Sealed, anti-torsion design with grounding for lightning protection
- Built-in temperature sensor; optional smart chip
- Four gauge lengths: 100, 150, 200 and 250 mm
Applications
- Concrete dams and masonry dams
- Hydropower plant powerhouses and hydraulic structures
- Bridges and tunnel linings
- Concrete foundations and bedrock
